Regrouping in West Brookfield before going off on back roads towards New Braintree
The critical turn in this ride. Go to their left (my right) and you're on Gilbertville
Road to Gilbertville
and the long climb into Hardwick.
Go to their right (my left) and the road is quiet and flat all the way to
Barre Plains.
The riders pull into Barre Plains, only about 7 miles left to go, or so we
thought. A bridge out changed that
