Sat (&Sun) Morning Road Rides - Return of the Easy C Rider

Easy C Rider - Ride Pictures 2007

(10/6) For the 20th ECR ride of the 2007 season, Dick mapped out a new route, the South County Reverse Ramble 40 ... to which many of the regulars and one rider new to group riding showed up.

Nearly every ride (so far) this season has been out of Dick's personal cue sheet library ... with no repeats.

LEFT: The riders stop to regroup fairly early in the ride.

RIGHT: Bob and Alex work on a flat on Walter's new (to him) bike about half way through the ride ... a long walk home from here.

Autumn is in the air (9/29) .. the ride starts in the 50s, and ends near 70F. A variation of the North County ride last done on 7/7 brought out a few regular riders. Three of us rode to the start and ended up with 45+/- miles ... the main ride was about 35 miles.

Dick forgot his camera ...so photo credits to Alex

Cultural exchange at the Clinton dam on Route 70 ... we take a break and chat with a pair of Harley riders in their fall leathers.

Dick didn't make it,
but five ECR regulars did

(9/2) A double header ECR weekend, rides both Saturday and Sunday, and brisk autumn weather again.
Dick was unable to enroll any domestiques for the ride but six strong, regular ECR riders showed up and we did a relatively flat but decidedly un-ECR long (43 miles) and fast (14+mph) run for the Connecticut border and back. Appropriate disclosures were made announcing the ride.
